Today I had the unique pleasure of speaking with Tanya Smith. She is a wife, mother and founder of Addelise Brand Development and Marketing, and so much more! This was one of the most raw and emotional interviews I've ever conducted. Tanya was a widow at just 26 years old when her husband died from a bee sting. (Ironically he wasn't even allergic to bees but we'll get to that). Tanya worked from a young age, she put herself through college, lost the love of her life, remarried, had 2 beautiful daughters and was living the dream. It's exhausting just writing all of that! 10 years after her late husband's passing, she had an epiphany and realized that she was living the dream, but it wasn't her dream. She quit her "Comfortable and corporate" marketing job and started her own company doing what she loved. Tanya is incredible in so many ways. She's someone that I would have been friends with when I was growing up. I cannot wait for you to hear her incredible story of perseverance and how she got to where she is today. Get ready to be inspired because this one is off the chain!
